NEW YORK, NY, April 25, 2008 - Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI; TSX: TRI; LSE: TRIL:

NASDAQ: TRIN), the world's leading source of intelligent information for

scientific, healthcare, and media markets, today announced the re-purchase of

355,000 Thomson Reuters PLC ordinary shares on April 25, 2008. The average price

paid was 1598.22 pence per share. The highest price per share paid was 1611

pence and the lowest price per share paid was 1578 pence.

As of April 25, 2008, Thomson Reuters PLC had 194,107,278 ordinary shares

outstanding. The re-purchased shares of Thomson Reuters PLC will be cancelled.
