NEW YORK, NY, April 29, 2008 - Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI; TSX: TRI; LSE: TRIL:

NASDAQ: TRIN), the world's leading source of intelligent information for

scientific, healthcare, and media markets, today announced the re-purchase of

295,000 Thomson Reuters PLC ordinary shares on April 29, 2008. The average price

paid was 1582.17 pence per share. The highest price per share paid was 1593

pence and the lowest price per share paid was 1570 pence.

As of April 29, 2008, Thomson Reuters PLC had 194,356,110 ordinary shares

outstanding. The re-purchased shares of Thomson Reuters PLC will be cancelled.
