NEW YORK, NY, June 23 2008 - Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI; TSX: TRI; LSE: TRIL:

scientific, healthcare, and media markets, today announced the re-purchase of

450,000 Thomson Reuters PLC ordinary shares on June 23, 2008. The average price

paid was 1416.1085 pence per share. The highest price per share paid was 1439

pence and the lowest price per share paid was 1389 pence.

As of June 23 2008, Thomson Reuters PLC had 184,040,909 ordinary shares

outstanding. The re-purchased shares of Thomson Reuters PLC will be cancelled.
