NEW YORK, NY, June 20 2008 - Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI; TSX: TRI; LSE: TRIL:

NASDAQ: TRIN), the world's leading source of intelligent information for

scientific, healthcare, and media markets, today announced the re-purchase of

450,000 Thomson Reuters PLC ordinary shares on June 20, 2008. The average price

paid was 1418.2846 pence per share. The highest price per share paid was 1449

pence and the lowest price per share paid was 1393 pence.

As of June 20 2008, Thomson Reuters PLC had 183,978,630 ordinary shares

outstanding. The re-purchased shares of Thomson Reuters PLC will be cancelled.
