NEW YORK, NY, May 28, 2008 - Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI; TSX: TRI; LSE: TRIL:

scientific, healthcare, and media markets, today announced the re-purchase of

175,000 Thomson Reuters PLC ordinary shares on May 28, 2008. The average price

paid was 1616.1871 pence per share. The highest price per share paid was 1626

pence and the lowest price per share paid was 1606 pence.

As of May 28, 2008, Thomson Reuters PLC had 186,828,935 ordinary shares

outstanding. The re-purchased shares of Thomson Reuters PLC will be cancelled.
