scientific, healthcare, and media markets, today announced the re-purchase of

157,500 Thomson Reuters PLC ordinary shares on May 22, 2008. The average price

paid was 1614.8471 pence per share. The highest price per share paid was 1625

pence and the lowest price per share paid was 1606 pence.

As of May 22, 2008, Thomson Reuters PLC had 187,841,004 ordinary shares

outstanding. The re-purchased shares of Thomson Reuters PLC will be cancelled.
