scientific, healthcare, and media markets, today announced the re-purchase of

300,000 Thomson Reuters PLC ordinary shares on May 8, 2008. The average price

paid was 1554.74 pence per share. The highest price per share paid was 1560

pence and the lowest price per share paid was1535 pence.

As of May 8, 2008, Thomson Reuters PLC had 193,304,742 ordinary shares

outstanding. The re-purchased shares of Thomson Reuters PLC will be cancelled.
