On 13 March 2006, Anne Bowerman, a person discharging managerial responsibilities at Reuters, exercised options over 417 ordinary 25p shares granted in March 2005 under an Annual Bonus Profit Sharing Plan. Ms Bowerman sold all shares at £3.89 each.
On the same day 1838 ordinary 25p shares, granted in March 2005, were released to Ms Bowerman under a Restricted Share Plan. 1077 shares were retained and 761 shares were sold at £3.89 each.
Ms Bowerman was granted 11,648 ordinary 25p share awards under a Restricted Share Plan on 15 March 2006.
Ms Bowerman now has a beneficial interest in 11,279 Ordinary shares (7,200 of which are held in her husband's name and 1712 of which are held in a Maxi ISA), 63,963 Options (Ordinary shares), 32,992 long term incentive plans (Ordinary shares) and 20,234 share award plans (Ordinary shares).
These holdings do not exceed 1% of the issued share capital of the company.
